Next, visit a local market where you’ll explore fresh herbs, vegetables, and other ingredients used in everyday Vietnamese cooking. Then, head to the kitchen with a friendly local chef who will guide you step-by-step.
You’ll cook three dishes: one main, one side, and one special dish chosen by the chef. Pick a main dish like grilled pork with noodles, crispy spring rolls, stir-fried chicken or goat with lemongrass, or chicken hot pot. For your side, choose a fresh salad, vegetable mix, or a sweet potato cake. The chef will also teach you a seasonal or local favorite.
After cooking, enjoy your meal and relax in the peaceful countryside setting. This class is perfect for food lovers and anyone wanting a fun, hands-on way to learn about Vietnamese culture.

Pick up
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Ninh Binh and take you to our traditional cooking home.
Welcome and Menu Selection
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our chef and offered a welcome drink. You’ll get a short introduction to Vietnamese cooking and the plan for the day.
Together with your group, you’ll choose three dishes to cook:
One Main Dish (Choose one):
- Grilled pork with noodles and herbs (Bun Cha)
- Fried spring rolls (Nem ran)
- Stir-fried goat or chicken with lemongrass (De xao xa ot)
- Chicken hot pot (Lau Ga)
One Sub Dish (Choose one):
- Morning glory salad with peanuts and sesame (Nom Rau Muong)
- Mixed salad
- Sweet potato cake
